Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on the 21st of September, 1965 in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines who her family resided in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University as well as graduated from the University of Central Florida. When she began studying TV and theater productions in Los Angeles, she realized that comedy was something she really knew only after she had studied at the university. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was an excellent teacher. She was taught to improvise as well as make comedy sketches. She used this experience to make her ready for the part of Larry David's wife on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue for the comedy is made up, which means she feels right at home.
