Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Sullivan was born and was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam Her mother, who is a former back-up singer at Philadelphia International Records. Her father proposed her to take on a job as the curator of the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She together with her family then relocated into the landmark. The year 2005 marks her Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student, she is a major in the field of vocal music. Sullivan began singing in the children's chorus in the contralto position, and then she joined the adult choir a few years afterwards. Sullivan had limited exposure to secular music. She relates that she was eleven when someone asked her to sing solos at church. She wasn't enough yet to be ready. Then, McDonald's held a contest for children in large cities. I was able to perform "Accept what God allows" at It's Showtime At the Apollo. And the public was extremely supportive. She was just 13 when she sang to Stevie Wonder for his grandson's birthday celebration. Sullivan was initially signed to Jive Records at the age fifteen. Sullivan was initially signed by Jive Records in the year fifteen. She recorded an entire album. However, this album did not see release. Sullivan was then dropped by the label. Her work had been in good partnership along with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced some of her tracks, including "Backstabbers" the track that was produced by Timbaland.
