Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson, an actor and songwriter who hails from Los Angeles was born in 1983. Thompson is the daughter grandaughter of singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as and actor Bobby Ramos. She grew up at Los Angeles, before she made the move to Brooklyn. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian descent. Thompson was a student at Santa Monica High School, where she played in several theatre productions. After her graduation, she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she received a degree in cultural anthropology. She starred as Juliet in the play by William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" as part of a show held in the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. It was the same year that her performance earned the NAACP Theatre Nomination. Off the on stage, in 2005 Tessa was the first TV appearance when she starred in the CBS show
