Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married at the civil ceremony on took place in December. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back in its production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its popularity.
